last-in-chain (LIC)
The last segment of a message whose entire length exceeded 256 bytes, transmit- ted by an SNA (systems network architecture) application or by the protocol emulator (PE) to the SNA side of the network, in a session governed by profile 3 or 4 protocol set. That the element being transmitted is last-in-chain, is specified by a setting in the chaining control field of the request header. InEC (emulator control) and XEC (extended emulator control) modes, the PE sets the chain indicator in messages it is transmitting to SNA. For messages flowing the other way, SNA sets the chain indicator.; 在EC(仿真控制)和 XEC(擴充仿真控制)中,PE對發送到SNA的報文設置鏈指示符。
